In addition to the scholarships described under the "Scholarships" tab, almost all EC study abroad experiences provide students with some form of additional financing opportunities. The key is to plan ahead and be sure to adhere to all posted deadlines for application submission. Deadlines for funding applications are often quite a bit earlier than the deadlines for applying for programs.
For short-term programs with travel during January, Spring Break, or Summer Term, be sure to apply for funding from the College using the Study Away Scholarships and Grants application, which will be available on your home page after you apply for a program. For long-term programs, check the website of the program you have chosen to determine what scholarships are available and when the deadline to apply for scholarships occurs.
In addition to general travel awards, several affiliated programs provide additional benefits to EC students. A sampling of these benefits is provided below. Please check your specific program's website for updates to the benefits they offer.
- Partial Refund of EC's International Education Fee - This is designed to offset the very high cost of applying to this program relative to application fees charged by other affiliated programs.
- Travel Scholarships from STA Travel - Two $500 scholarships from STA Travel for roundtrip travel from the United States to your program destination area available each academic year to ISEP students whose home university is located in the USA.
