Program Description:
Spring Break Service Experience
March 17 – 24, 2018

The Experience: Live in community at the Robin’s Nest, a group home for children and adolescents, aged newborn to 16 years old.  The regular schedule of people who live at Robin’s Nest includes simple meals, school, playtime, nap time, recreational activities and studying. Ten Elmhurst students, two student leaders and two staff leaders will contribute to various activities at Robin’s nest!

Free/Independent Time: This will be very rewarding and fun week, but it is intensive and there will not be time to leave the Children’s Home to explore or do your own activities.

Cost: The cost for the program is approximately $1,200. There will be one $600 deposit due on December 1 and the final $600 payment due in February. The cost includes all expenses other than souvenirs and personal expenses.
Ways your interest/studies can be used: While the daily schedule for the Robin’s Nest is relatively set, all participants will use their own skills and talents to serve in a way that is mutually beneficial.
