Program Description:

Camino de Santiago de Compostela
This course explores the religious, spiritual and self-searches that pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela experienced in Medieval and Modern times and invites students to reflect upon these experiences, to become inspired by them and to undertake these explorations. During a three- week time period, students and faculty will have the chance to walk this pilgrimage.  As they walk along the route, participants will explore the many cultural and religious sites, experience the unique scenery and geographical terrain and meet with the citizens who live along the walk-way.

Earn academic credit and be part of a unique travel experience! Join us on a 23 day pilgrimage across Spain. Experience the history, the scenery and the culture of Spain as we journey from Madrid to Pamplona and then travel the "French Route" along the famous Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
