The total cost of this trip will be approximately $ 5, 015.00 (This price includes 750.00 tuition and 45.00 insurance fee)
This cost includes: air fare, lodging, ground transportation costs and most meals, tuition and insurance fees .
Please note: For Graduate Students & Alumni there will be a $500.00
course audit fee required in addition to the above $4,220 travel costs & the insurance fee of $45, making the total
costs = $4,765.
Important Note - In order to encourage students to take advantage of J-Term and EC Summer Short-Term study away opportunities, Elmhurst College has established the following policy:
Students who enroll in an EC Short-Term Summer Study Away experience will now pay a reduced $750 fee instead of the on-campus tuition fee.
This fee is in addition to the program costs.
EC Summer Travel benefits are limited to study away courses that are led by EC faculty during the summer months. It does NOT apply to courses taken on campus during the regular Summer Term or to courses taken through affiliated programs.
In all cases, students will register for the course during the term that travel occurs; however, students will meet several times during the term prior to travel to facilitate planning and learn the culture of the host country. In most cases, EC Summer Travel will take place during June and/or July.
