Boren Awards for International Study

  • Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students to study abroad in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin American, and the Middle East. Freeman-Asia

  • The primary goal is to increase the number of American undergraduates who study in East and Southeast Asia, by providing students with the information and financial assistance they will need. Awardees will be expected to share their experience with their home campus to encourage study abroad by others and to spread the understanding of Asia in their home countries. Gilman Scholarship

  • You can apply for up to one academic year of study on a program of study abroad. You must be a student who is currently receiving need-based student assistance from the federal government (Pell Grants, Federal Work-Study, Stafford Loans, Perkins Loans and Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants). German Academic Exchange Service

  • Scholarships to highly qualified undergraduate students for study abroad, university language or summer courses, senior thesis research and/or internships in the Federal Republic of Germany. Please check the website for current applications and deadlines: Undergrad Scholarship

GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Diversity Scholarship

  • Scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded to eligible students of ethnic minority who are willing to share their experience with family, friends and student colleagues upon their return. A scholarship application is required and is available upon acceptance to a GlobaLinks program. Please check the website for current applications and deadlines: GlobaLinks Scholarships

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

  • Students must be of a Hispanic background. You must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident and a full-time student with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. Pleas check the Hispanic Scholaship Funds website for current application deadlines: Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Midwest Regional Center of IIE

  • Student must be a U.S. Citizen and a permanent resident of area served by the center. You must be in good academic standing. You must have little or no previous study abroad experience. Please check the website for current applications and deadlines: Institute of International Education

Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad and Internship Grants

  • These awards are designed specifically to recognize and assist undergraduates as they seek knowledge abroad or though work outside the academic setting. STA Travel Scholarship

  • Two $500 scholarships from STA Travel for roundtrip travel from the United States to your program destination are available each academic year to ISEP students whose home university is located in the USA.  You must contact STA Travel to purchase your ticket at 1-866-557-8529 or e-mail to isep@statravel.com.  When you identify yourself as an ISEP student, your name will automatically be entered into the drawing for the Travel Scholarship.  Deadlines:  August 1 and December 15. STA Airfare Deposit Program

  • This scholarship is for students receiving financial aid. Non-refundable $300 deposit guarantees your ticket price. Full payment is not due until 7 days prior to departure. Valid only on STA Travel Exclusive flights. Check out their website for more information: Airefare Deposit Program
